EXAMPLE:
A red oak (change coefficient = .00369) board 5 inches wide experiences a moisture content change from 6 to 9 percent - a change of 3 percentage points.
You would enter the number 3 in the "Change in Moisture Percentage" field, Select "Red Oak" under the "Show Common Wood Species" chart for the "Change coefficient/Wood specie", next enter the number 5 for width of board.
Finally, click calculate to see your result, (0.0553 inches)
